After an unbelievably tragic and senseless event took the life of a father and husband earlier this year, Darin and I, like so many others in the Tampa Bay community, reached out to this mother and daughter. We realized that what Nicole had witnessed, lived through, and was now being faced with, could’ve been the unbearable and painful reality for any one of us.

In an attempt to bring some kind of peace, some kind of joy, to her very broken heart, we wanted to give Nicole something that would help remind her of the love and life that is very much still alive between her and her precious daughter, Lexy. We wanted to capture and preserve moments that would give her hope. Hope that with each passing day, she would find the strength to move forward and embrace life’s beauty and light.
